I'm Evelyn Starr, children's picture book author and working flight attendant. I write stories where the best adventures start with curiosity, courage, and a little everyday magic.
As a flight attendant, I spend my days surrounded by the hardest working piece of equipment in the airline industry — the suitcase. It goes everywhere we go, carries everything we need, and never gets a second thought. I wanted to give it one. That idea became Skye Takes Flight!, my debut picture book about a little suitcase named Skye who rolls into the unknown anyway and discovers that travel isn't just about destinations — it's about friendship, courage, and finding where you belong.
